I am Optimistic about the Future of the Travel Industry!

Travel is one of life’s greatest pleasures, and we will probably never take it for granted again. People travel for different reasons, but most travelers fall into two main categories. Some people go to relax and unwind, and others travel to explore and discover. Whatever is your reason for traveling – there will be a pent up demand for travel in 2021. So, I am very optimistic! I think that the travel industry is resilient; people love to travel. As I talk with clients, I hear a clear need for travel. My clients who travel to relax are stressed and anxious and need that trip more than ever. My clients who travel to explore are sick of staying home and are craving new and exciting experiences

Travel has become a necessity for people, and savvy travelers know that they need to book early to get the experience that they want at a reasonable price for a major expedition. They know that the demand, once it’s safe to travel again, will be enormous, and it’s smart to book now for later this year or next year before the country-wide pent-up demand leads to higher prices and lower availability.

COVID-19 has made me a better travel advisor and advocate, thereby allowing me to show my value. There is a ton of misinformation about using a travel agency, especially a brick-and-mortar one, that it’s generally no more costly than doing it on one’s own using an online booking website. I can usually find the best product and value for my clients, and if something goes wrong, I can get the vacation back on track.
