ABOUT US

AVMG Travel was founded in 2006 and became an LLC in 2016. The agency  provides vacations including but not limited to cruises and luxury tour packages. The founder Cheryl Benion, became interested in luxury travel in 2003 when she went on a popular cruise. It left such a positive impression that she wanted everyone to have that very same experience.

I still claim to be a scientist. I would attack a problem by following a set protocol and then varying one portion of the protocol to come up with the best answer. Travel is like that. I enjoy using the information that a fellow traveler would like to experience, and to help them to make those experiences happen and then more!!!
I have a husband and assistant that I have lived with for more than 29 years and we have produced 3 wonderfully successful and grounded children who believe in the family mantra of “work hard and play harder”. Family vacations were how we played harder. Memories of those trip make us smile and brings us closer, if just for a while. I had a weekend of celebration for my 50th birthday and made many of the travel arrangements many of my relatives who live in the northeast. I forgot to tell you that I now live in Nashville, TN. Anyway, I offered a historical tour of the city and I was commended for my narrations. I was encouraged to think about offering travel services and decided to form my own travel company.
I am a stakeholder in my community and have noticed that those who are caregivers needed a refuge where they can recharge their spirit to continue their work. I want to offer cruise and spa opportunities where in addition to rest and relaxation, one can learn how to live a more holistic life through seminars and demonstrations such as raw food preparation. Family and friend cruising with private parties and perks are other service that I offer.
Did I say that I love to travel? I have wanderlust and I am now at that place that I have dreamed of, being able to go through the Panama Canal, seeing and weeping at Goree Island and doing the “wobble” into the wee morning on deck of a cruise ship.
