Back Down Memory Lane

I felt my lowest on 4/11/07, but significant health issues and more disappointments were to come.
Before that day, I was on autopilot to complete existing projects. I, however, allowed myself to think about my contributions to society and my community and that I was making a difference, and I wrote a note to myself. I want to share my writing because we are coming upon the New Year, which is the time for making resolutions to become a better person. I need to take the time to read, to write for this blog, and relax. That isn’t easy when you own a home-based business. Though I have a defined space for your office, my phone rings in other parts of the house, my cell phone, and my car! The challenge for me will be to work hard during wave season and give myself rewards for helping others attain their dream vacation and not being debilitated by the end of the season.

“Wave season” is like Black Friday for cruise deals. It historically takes place between January through March. I started preparing for wave season on Black Friday and the day after Christmas. I start my schedule of working 12 -15 hours per day at least five days out of the week.

So I need to remind myself of my Divine Self.

Dear Divine Self,
I am so proud of your travels and journies as you find your pure wonderfulness. Cast fear and doubt aside. They are but the thorns in the garden of life and can be circumvented. One does not have to be in pain to smell the roses.
Allow yourself to dream, for it is through your thoughts that your creativity can be expressed.
Learn to breathe deeply, for that adds more to your life and health. I thank you for the realization of my divine self.
