I want to be a Bahama Mama

I am so sick of people who cannot conclude that if you wear a mask and practice social distancing, we can slow down the ravages of Covid-19. Jazzy seniors, like myself, have to stay in the house. When we go out, we have to tell people thanks, but I will take the next elevator. I may seem to be hysterical, but a smiling face could get me dangerously ill. I have to get away. I think that we all need to. I can’t go to the Bahamas to bask in the sun and bob freely on a float, because Americans are not welcome. However, the French, Canadians, and EU travelers can. All they have to do is show a negative COVID test to visit our neighbor to the north and Mexico to the south, and the EU will only allow essential travel from Americans. Allianz Travel, a travel insurance company, has seen a 93% increase in their domestic travel quotes. Maybe I will go to Panama City, Florida, next month. The gulf water will still be warm, and the white sand will help me believe that I am in Jamaica.
